Frequently Asked Questions

  • We currently work with a third party biller named Headway. Through their services, we are able to accept BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealth Care, and various others!

  • That varies for each individual. Some people feel satisfied that they have reached their goals within just a few sessions while others may need continued support from therapy services for a year or longer. There is no set time!

  • A consultation is not a therapy session. It is a 15 minute phone call with one of our therapists to answer questions about our services and to help determine if ongoing therapy is a good fit for your needs.

An intake session is the first session in the therapy process that allows the therapist and client to go over policies and procedures and establish a direction and goals.

  • We currently offer counseling services in-person at our clinic office or through our Telehealth service!

For telehealth sessions, you will receive an email with a link to our secure online video platform to easily connect with your therapist from your laptop, phone, or tablet.

For our in-person services, you will receive notification of your upcoming sessions and be welcomed into are office located at 110 E. Pecan Street in Gainesville Texas.

  • The intake session will be an initial assessment to discuss the client’s history and needs for treatment. During this time the client will have the opportunity to explore how therapy will work, review office policies, privacy and confidentiality, as well as determine whether or not they are comfortable with the therapist.

  • Standard appointments last around 45-60 minutes, but the counseling space is the client’s space to work for as much or as little time as they would like in the 60 minute range. Meaning, some sessions could be 16 minutes, some sessions could be the full 60 minutes. It is up to the client to decide!

Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do.
